Web Interface for Satellite Uplink The Challenge: A manufacturer of satellite broadcast equipment needed to add web access capability to an existing line of products. Minimal modification to the product line was required, little space was available, and client was extremely sensitive to IP royalty costs. The Solution: Identified a reference platform capable of meeting customer requirements. Negotiated contract with platform manufacturer that was satisfactory to client. Designed web interface to fit in the 5 square inch space available. Created table-driven applicatiion software to adapt easily across product line. Result: Design was adapted directly for numerous members of the product line, as well as being adopted as a basis for new products.
